our trip…San Diego, CA | Esther Pederson Photography

March 5th, 2011

We fit a lot of fun into our trip to SoCal. It rained the first couple days we were there, but the sun popped out the last few days and we were able to enjoy ourselves. The zoo, the beach, Disneyland, shopping, good food (and lots of it!). It was also great to see my friend Shylah and her family, as they drove from Phoenix to see us and vacation as well. As I was editing these photos, it made me happy because there is so much color, something we don’t see very much of in Alaska in the wintertime. It was a much needed break from the cold for me. I enjoyed every bit of it. I hope you enjoy seeing it through my lens as well.

“Life without friendship, is like the sky without the sun.”

I got together with this group of friends last week. They were funny, energetic, and from what I could see, very close. They work together, they play together. They do almost everything together, so what a better way to document their friendship than with a photoshoot. We went to a few different locations, and both the wind and the sun followed us wherever we went. I say a little wind is good for hair movement, but when it whips, almost blows you over, and turns you into a popsicle in the meantime, well, that’s a different story! Thanks for being great sports through it all! It was fun to see you all interact, and laugh and enjoy each others company. Enjoy this little concoction of photos. More to come soon. :) PS- Bridgett had the best kung foo jump! I just had to include it! Yeah!
