Erin & Nathan | Esther Pederson Photography

I get a bit ridiculous when I photograph an engagement session (or similar). My thoughts seem to materialize into words, and I’m sure my clients think I’m crazy. lol. But it’s true when I yell out words like “beautiful!!”, or “perfect!!” or my all time favorite “oh my gosh!!”. At least when I do that, I get some real smiles and laughs. I know Erin a little bit from around town, but it was my first time meeting her fiance’ Nathan. What a great match, these two. They complement each other in many ways, and their gentle affection for one another is very sweet. Despite our drab brown surroundings and wet tundra (classic spring time in Alaska!), we had fun stopping here and there using different locations as backdrops. My favorite, the last location, with the beautiful snowy hills in the background. Enjoy you two! Again, thanks for your patience with my ideas, and for getting into the session with me!

Lovely! You can take the barren and make it so romantic. I adore her in the dress; and the last shot – so at peace with each other.
