I played a little with this photo last night. First I did my standard processing (on the right), then I thought it would be fun to do a funky edit with some new actions I got. I think I actually prefer the softer hazy edit on the left. What do you think? This photo was taken on our last day in Hawaii. Sienna and I got lei’s from Daddy for Valentines Day, and she sported this thing till the flowers were wilty and falling off. It was so cute! I love this photo too..everything about it is perfect in my mind. The location of course was to die for, the smile on her face says she is happy, and our last day in Hawaii at the best beach ever! What good memories to look back on! Anyway, tell me which you prefer, and I’ll tell you where you can snag these actions for free so you can play too. :) This last one is pretty special too. Sienna and me on Valentines Day, overlooking the Wailua River. {love!}

I like the 2nd (bolder) treatment. Lovely photos – lovely lei’s.

Love the right one a bit more – love the bold colors!! And please do tell where you got that awesome action!

Darling photos! I like your standard processing best. What can I say I’m a dedicated fan!

Oh Esther, I love them both but the bolder one is my favorite in this case :) You and Sienna are just beautiful!

Oops. . . I’m always an outlier, but I like the softer, hazier one best. I like them both, but I like the softer one, because it’s the subject that commands attention then, and not the processing. It just seems like it’s more likely to stand the test of time and contributes to the mood of the shot more. Actually, I might be tempted to create a mask out of the bolder one, over the hazier one, and just brush in a bit of the purple of the shirt, flowers in the back, at about a 50% opacity. But that’s just me. :)

Hmmm… I like them both, but the bolder one on the right is my favorite.

I really prefer your regular PP the best, don’t mess with Perfection. :)
